This panel includes blood glucose, hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), and a comprehensive metabolic profile. It is used for the diagnosis and management of diabetes.

Tests Included:

Blood Glucose (Fasting Test)

A blood test called the glucose test measure the blood sugar levels normal fasting sugar should be less than 100

• a fasting blood sugar of hundred to 125 mg indicates early diabetes/ prediabetes
• A fasting blood sugar of more than 126 mg may indicates Presence of diabetes.

HbA1c (Hemoglobin A1c Test)

The hemoglobin A1c test is a diagnostic test for diagnosing and monitoring diabetes normal A1c should be less than 5.7

• A1c between 5.7 to 6.5 indicates early/pre-diabetes and A1c of greater than 6.5 indicates presence of diabetes,
• A1c level greater than 7 indicates less than optimal control of diabetes
• A1c level greater than 9 indicates poor control of diabetes

Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)

This test evaluates:
